तेन शब्देन महता त्रस्तास्तत्र दिवौकस:,उस महाभयंकर कोलाहलसे उस यज्ञमें पधारे हुए समस्त देवता व्याकुल हो उठे। पर्वत टूक-टूक होकर बिखर गये। धरती डोलने लगी, आँधी चलने लगी और समुद्रमें तूफान आ गया

Transliteration

tena śabdena mahatā trastās tatra divaukasaḥ

Translation

Dijo Dakṣa: «Golpeados por aquel estruendo inmenso, los dioses reunidos allí para el sacrificio cayeron en pánico. El tumulto fue tan aterrador que las montañas parecían quebrarse y dispersarse; la tierra empezó a temblar, se alzaron vientos violentos y el océano fue agitado hasta volverse tormenta».
