भगवन्‌ क्व नु यान्त्येते देवा: शक्रपुरोगमा: । ब्रृहि तत्त्वेन तत्त्वज्ञ संशयो मे महानयम्‌,'भगवन्‌! ये इन्द्र आदि देवता कहाँ जा रहे हैं? तत्त्वज्ञ परमेश्वर! ठीक-ठीक बताइये। मेरे मनमें यह महान्‌ संशय उत्पन्न हुआ है”

bhagavan kva nu yānty ete devāḥ śakra-purogamāḥ | brūhi tattvena tattvajña saṁśayo me mahān ayam ||

«¡Oh venerable Señor! ¿Adónde van en verdad estos dioses, guiados por Śakra (Indra)? Oh conocedor de la realidad, dímelo con exactitud y conforme a la verdad, pues una gran duda ha surgido en mi mente.»
