राज्ञस्तद्‌ वचन श्रुत्वा प्रीतिमानभवद्‌ द्विज: । पूजयित्वा च तद्‌ वाक्‍्यं माण्डव्यो मोक्षमाश्रित:

Transliteration

rājñas tad vacanaṃ śrutvā prītimān abhavad dvijaḥ | pūjayitvā ca tad vākyaṃ māṇḍavyo mokṣam āśritaḥ ||

Translation

Al oír las palabras del rey, el brahmán se llenó de júbilo. Honrando y elogiando aquella declaración, el sabio Māṇḍavya se acogió al sendero que conduce a la liberación (mokṣa), apartándose de lo mundano conforme al dharma.
