सर्वेषां यः सुद्वन्नित्यं सर्वेषां च हिते रत: । कर्मणा मनसा वाचा स धर्म वेद जाजले,जाजले! जो सब जीवोंका सुहृद् होता और मन, वाणी तथा क्रियाद्वारा सदा सबके हितमें लगा रहता है, वही वास्तवमें धर्मको जानता है
sarveṣāṃ yaḥ sudvannityaṃ sarveṣāṃ ca hite rataḥ | karmaṇā manasā vācā sa dharma veda jājale jājale ||
Tulādhāra declaró: «¡Oh Jājali! Quien es amigo benévolo de todos los seres y permanece siempre dedicado al bien de todos—con sus actos, con su mente y con su palabra—ese es, en verdad, quien conoce el dharma».
तुलाधार उवाच
Dharma is not merely ritual or status; it is universal benevolence—being a sincere well-wisher of all and actively working for others’ good through one’s actions, thoughts, and words.
In the Tulādhāra–Jājali discourse of Śānti Parva, Tulādhāra instructs the ascetic Jājali, emphasizing that true righteousness is measured by consistent, practical concern for the welfare of all beings.
