कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः
Kapila–Cow Dialogue: Authority of Householder and Renunciant Dharmas
बुद्ध्वा च स महातेजा न चचाल च जाजलि: । धर्मे कृतमना नित्यं नाधर्म स त्वरोचयत्
buddhvā ca sa mahātejā na cacāla ca jājaliḥ | dharme kṛtamanā nityaṃ nādharma sa tvarocayat ||
Aun al comprenderlo, el resplandeciente sabio Jājali no vaciló. Su mente estaba siempre entregada al dharma; por ello no aprobaba acto alguno que fuese adharma.
भीष्म उवाच
True commitment to dharma is shown by steadiness: even after learning something that could provoke agitation or compromise, a dharmic person remains unmoved and refuses to endorse adharma.
Bhīṣma describes the sage Jājali’s reaction upon understanding a certain matter: Jājali does not become disturbed or change course; because his mind is continually fixed on dharma, he does not accept or approve any unrighteous action.
