Adhyāya 249 — Mṛtyu-prādurbhāvaḥ (The Manifestation of Death) / Restraint of Tejas and Ordered Saṃhāra
आत्मज्ञानमिदं गुहां सर्वगुह्मृतमं महत् । अब्र॒ुवं यदहं तात आत्मसाक्षिकमञ्जसा
ātmajñānam idaṁ guhāṁ sarvaguhyṛtamaṁ mahat | abruvaṁ yad ahaṁ tāta ātmasākṣikam añjasā ||
Vyāsa dijo: «Esta enseñanza del conocimiento del Sí mismo es un secreto profundo—en verdad, el mayor y el más celosamente guardado de todos los secretos. Lo que te he declarado, querido, está verificado por el testigo interior directo (el Sí mismo mismo) y puede realizarse de manera recta y clara.»
