समरेषु च विक्रान्तं पर्याप्त॑ तन्निदर्शनम्‌ । पहले मैं जो पुरुषार्थ प्रकट कर चुका हूँ

Transliteration

samareṣu ca vikrāntaṃ paryāptaṃ tan-nidarśanam |

Translation

Bhishma dijo: “Y en cuanto a mi destreza en las batallas, un solo ejemplo basta como prueba. Tú, mejor que nadie, conoces el esfuerzo varonil y la resolución que ya he mostrado; una y otra vez, en muchas guerras, has presenciado mi valor. Por eso, en este momento, una sola ilustración será suficiente.”
