क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
Bhīṣma dijo: «Perdóname, oh Indra. Dentro de poco, el Tiempo caerá también sobre ti. Aunque yo permanecí siempre vigilante, si el Tiempo implacable pudo herirme, pronto te herirá a ti igualmente. Perdóname por pronunciar esta amarga verdad».
