कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
अहमेवोद्वहाम्यापो विसृजामि च वासव । तपामि चैव त्रैलोक्यं विद्योताम्पहमेव च
aham evodvahāmy āpo visṛjāmi ca vāsava | tapāmi caiva trailokyaṁ vidyotāmy aham eva ca ||
Śakra dijo: «Yo solo elevo las aguas y yo solo las libero de nuevo, oh Vāsava. Yo solo caliento los tres mundos, y yo solo, como relámpago, esparzo la iluminación». En su contexto, el hablante afirma una tutela cósmica—la responsabilidad por los ciclos de lluvia, calor y luz—y recuerda que el poder es deber, y que el orden del mundo se sostiene por una acción regulada y con propósito, no por el capricho.
