कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
पुरा सर्व प्रव्यथितं मयि क्रुद्धे पुरंदर । अवैमि त्वस्य लोकस्य धर्म शक्र सनातनम्
purā sarva-pravyathitaṃ mayi kruddhe puraṃdara | avaimi tv asya lokasya dharmaṃ śakra sanātanam ||
«Antaño, oh Purandara, cada vez que yo me airaba, el mundo entero quedaba sumido en la aflicción. Conozco bien la ley eterna de este mundo, oh Śakra: aquí a veces hay auge y a veces declive; tal es su naturaleza desde antiguo.»
