अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अर्यमा चैव भगवान् ये चास्य तनया विभो । एते प्रदेशा: कथिता भुवनानां प्रभावना:,प्रभो! भगवान् अर्यमा और उनके सभी पुत्र--ये प्रदेश (आदेश देनेवाले शासक) तथा प्रभावन (उत्तम स्रष्टा) कहे गये हैं
aryamā caiva bhagavān ye cāsya tanayā vibho | ete pradeśāḥ kathitā bhuvanānāṃ prabhāvanāḥ prabho ||
Bhishma dijo: «Aryaman, la deidad venerable, y todos los que son sus hijos—oh poderoso—son declarados los “pradeśas”, los gobernadores con autoridad, y los “prabhāvanas”, las fuerzas potentes que sostienen y acrecientan los mundos, oh señor».
