विप्रचित्तिप्रधानांश्व दानवानसृजदू दनु: । दितिस्तु सर्वानसुरान् महासत्त्वानजीजनत्
Vipracitti-pradhānāṁś ca dānavān asṛjad ū Danuḥ | Ditis tu sarvān asurān mahāsattvān ajījanat ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Danu dio a luz a los Dānavas, entre los cuales Vipracitti y otros fueron los principales. Diti, en cambio, llegó a ser la madre de todos los Asuras, seres poderosos de gran fuerza.
