Śānti-parva 206: Guṇa-hetu Moha, Kāma-krodha Chain, Indriya-utpatti, and Nirodha

सूक्ष्मेण मनसा विद्यो वाचा वक्तुंन शकक्‍्नुम: । मनो हि मनसा ग्राहां दर्शनेन च दर्शनम्‌

bhīṣma uvāca | sūkṣmeṇa manasā vidyo vācā vaktuṃ na śaknumaḥ | mano hi manasā grāhyaṃ darśanena ca darśanam |

Dijo Bhīṣma: Con una mente refinada hasta la sutil pureza, podemos aprehender directamente la Realidad Suprema; pero no somos capaces de expresarla mediante la palabra. Pues los objetos de la mente sólo son captados por la mente, y la visión (el ver directo) sólo se conoce por la visión misma.
