Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga
इह चिन्ता बहुविधा धर्माधर्मस्य कर्मण: । कर्मभूमिरियं लोके इह कृत्वा शुभाशुभम् | शुभे: शुभमवाप्रोति तथाशुभमथान्यथा
iha cintā bahuvidhā dharmādharmasya karmaṇaḥ | karmabhūmir iyaṃ loke iha kṛtvā śubhāśubham || śubheḥ śubham avāpnoti tathāśubham athānyathā ||
En este mundo surgen muchas reflexiones sobre la acción: qué es dharma y qué es adharma. Este mundo es el campo del karma: tras obrar aquí el bien o el mal, el hombre alcanza el buen fruto de las buenas acciones y, del mismo modo, padece el mal fruto de las malas—nunca de otra manera.
