भूगुरुवाच ब्रह्मकल्पे पुरा ब्रह्मन् ब्रद्मर्षीणां समागमे । लोकसम्भवसंदेह: समुत्पन्नो महात्मनाम्
Translation
Bhṛgu dijo: «Oh brahmán, en tiempos antiguos, cuando transcurría el Brahma-kalpa, los brahmarṣis se reunieron entre sí. En aquella asamblea de grandes almas surgió una duda acerca del origen del mundo».
