एतावतापि लाभेन तोष्ट्महसि काश्यप । कि पुनर्योडसि सत्त्वानां सर्वेषां ब्राह्मणोत्तम:
etāvatāpi lābhena toṣṭum arhasi kāśyapa | kiṁ punar yo 'si sattvānāṁ sarveṣāṁ brāhmaṇottamaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Kāśyapa, deberías estar satisfecho incluso con esta sola ganancia. ¿Qué ganancia mayor puede haber que ésta: que entre todos los seres vivientes tú eres el más excelso de los brāhmaṇas?»
