संकेते पिड़ला वेश्या कान्तेनासीद् विनाकृता । अथ कृच्छूगता शान्ता बुद्धिमास्थापयत् तदा,एक बार पिड़ला वेश्या बहुत देरतक संकेत स्थानपर बैठी रही, तब भी उसका प्रियतम उसके पास नहीं आया; इससे वह बड़े कष्टमें पड़ गयी, तथापि शान्त रहकर इस प्रकार विचार करने लगी
Translation
Una vez, Piḍalā, una cortesana, permaneció largo tiempo sentada en el lugar de la cita, pero su amado no acudió. Entonces cayó en la aflicción; sin embargo, manteniéndose serena, asentó su entendimiento y comenzó a reflexionar así.
