इत्युक्तवचने तस्मिन्‌ राक्षसेन्द्रे महात्मनि । यथेष्टं तानि रत्नानि जग॒हुब्रह्मिणर्षभा:,उन महात्मा राक्षसराजके ऐसा कहनेपर उन ब्राह्मणोंने इच्छानुसार उन सब रत्नोंको ले लिया

Transliteration

ity uktavacane tasmin rākṣasendre mahātmani | yatheṣṭaṃ tāni ratnāni jagṛhur brāhmiṇarṣabhāḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma dijo: «Cuando aquel magnánimo señor de los rakshasas hubo hablado así, los brahmanes, firmes como toros, tomaron aquellas joyas según les plugo.»
