This line is a colophon marking the close of a chapter within the Āpaddharma section of Śānti Parva, framing the preceding material as guidance on dharma under crisis and identifying the episode-title (“Nṛśaṃsa”) for contextual reading.
The text is not advancing the story but formally concluding the chapter: it locates the passage within Śānti Parva, within the Āpaddharma subsection, and names the chapter/episode as “Nṛśaṃsa,” indicating the end of the 164th adhyāya.
