Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
'सौम्य चुप रहो, तुम्हें जल्दी नहीं करनी चाहिये, घबरानेकी कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। मैं समयको खूब पहचानता हूँ, ठीक अवसर आनेपर मैं कभी नहीं चूकूँगा ।।
Saumya, cupa raho; tumheṃ jaldī nahīṃ karanī cāhiye, ghabarāne kī koī āvaśyakatā nahīṃ hai. Ahaṃ samayaṃ khūba pahacānatā hūṃ; ṭhīk avasara āne par maiṃ kabhī nahīṃ cūkūṅgā. Akāle kṛtyam ārabdhaṃ kartuḥ nārthāya kalpate; tad eva kāle ārabdhaṃ mahate ’rthāya kalpate.
Bhishma dijo: «Buen amigo, guarda silencio; no obres con prisa: no hay motivo de alarma. Conozco bien el tiempo; cuando llegue el momento oportuno, no lo dejaré escapar. La tarea emprendida a destiempo no trae provecho a quien la realiza; pero esa misma tarea, iniciada en el tiempo debido, se vuelve medio de gran éxito».
