tataḥ śāstrārthatattvajño buddhisāmarthyam ātmanaḥ

Translation

Entonces, como quien comprendía de veras la esencia y la realidad de las enseñanzas del śāstra, ponderó la fuerza y la capacidad de su propio entendimiento—disponiéndose a obrar conforme al recto conocimiento y no por impulso.
