अकृत्वा संविदं काज्चित्‌ सहसा समवपष्लुत: । कृतज्ञं कृतकर्माणं कच्चिन्मां नाभिशंकसे

Transliteration

akṛtvā saṁvidaṁ kāñcit sahasā samavapluṭaḥ | kṛtajñaṁ kṛtakarmāṇaṁ kaccin māṁ nābhiśaṅkase ||

Translation

Dijo Bhīṣma: «¡Hermano! Sin haber hecho acuerdo alguno, ni siquiera un breve intercambio, ¿por qué te has deslizado de pronto en esta madriguera? Te estoy agradecido; al proteger tu vida he cumplido también un gran servicio para ti. No albergas sospecha alguna contra mí, ¿verdad?»
