Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca

Bhishma dijo: «Ya he cortado muchos hilos; sólo queda un cordón.
Maintain inner calm (nirvata) in adversity and act with firm resolve to remove the final cause of bondage or danger—steadiness of mind is presented as an ethical strength.
Bhishma addresses the sage Lomasha, assuring him that most ‘strands’ have already been cut and only one remains, which he will soon sever; he urges Lomasha not to panic, while the text notes that both are still in a distressed situation as they converse.
