Sandhi–Vigraha in Āpada: The Mouse and the Cat (सन्धिविग्रहापदि—मूषकमार्जारसंवादः)
Right conduct grounded in Dharmaśāstra can lead to swift spiritual accomplishment, even for those socially labeled as outlaws (dasyus); ethical discipline is presented as more decisive than birth or reputation.
Kāyavya argues that if members of a marginal or outlaw group follow the prescriptions of dharma-texts, they too can attain siddhi; the statement functions as a justification for moral eligibility and leadership based on adherence to dharma.
