Gautama–Yama Saṃvāda: Mātṛ-Pitṛ-Ṛṇa (Debt to Parents) and Śubha-Loka Attainment
भवन्त: सुमहाभागास्तस्मात् पृच्छामि संशयम् । आशावान् पुरुषो यः स्यादन्तरिक्षमथापि वा
bhavantaḥ sumahābhāgās tasmāt pṛcchāmi saṁśayam | āśāvān puruṣo yaḥ syād antarīkṣam athāpi vā |
Bhīṣma dijo: «Vosotros sois sumamente afortunados y consumados; por eso os pregunto para disipar mi duda. Si, de un lado, hay un hombre sostenido por la esperanza, y del otro, el cielo sin límites, ¿cuál de los dos os parece mayor según la medida de grandeza del mundo? Deseo oír la verdad de esto. En verdad, habiendo venido aquí, ¿qué podría seguir siendo difícil de obtener?»
