तत्तु कर्म तथा कुर्याद्‌ येन श्लाघ्येत संसदि । शीलं समासेनैतत्‌ ते कथितं कुरुसत्तम

tattu karma tathā kuryād yena ślāghyeta saṃsadi | śīlaṃ samāsenaitat te kathitaṃ kurusattama ||

Por tanto, deben realizarse las acciones de tal modo que, en la asamblea colmada, uno sea alabado. Oh el mejor de los Kurus, esto—dicho en breve—es lo que te he expuesto como la esencia de la buena conducta (śīla).
