इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत राजधमनुशासनपर्वमें माता-पिता और गुरुका माहात्म्यविषयक एक सौ आठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हआ
iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi antargate rājadharmānuśāsanaparvaṇi mātā-pitṛ-guru-māhātmyaviṣayaka ekaśatāṣṭamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
Así concluye el capítulo centésimo octavo del Mahābhārata, en el Śānti Parva, dentro de la sección de la instrucción sobre el dharma real, relativo a la grandeza y santidad de la madre, el padre y el maestro. La narración cierra esta unidad de consejo ético dejando constancia formal de su conclusión.
भीष्म उवाच
