Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca—mahān ayaṁ dharma-patho bahu-śākhaḥ, bhārata; kiṁ svid eṣv iha dharmāṇām anuṣṭheyatamaṁ matam?

Translation

Dijo Yudhiṣṭhira: «Oh Bhārata, este sendero del dharma es vasto y tiene muchas ramas. Entre los deberes aquí enseñados, ¿cuál juzgas el más esencial para llevarlo a la práctica?»
