जनकस्य युद्धोपदेशः — Janaka’s Instruction on Steadfast Battle-Conduct

अभीरूणामिमे लोका भास्वन्तो हन्त पश्यत । पूर्णा गन्धर्वकन्याभि: सर्वकामदुहो$क्षया:,“वीरो! देखो, ये जो तेजस्वी लोक दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे हैं, ये निर्भय होकर युद्ध करनेवाले वीरोंको प्राप्त होते हैं। ये अविनाशी लोक असंख्य गन्धर्वकन्याओं (अप्सराओं) से भरे हुए हैं और सम्पूर्ण कामनाओंकी पूर्ति करनेवाले हैं

abhīrūṇām ime lokā bhāsvanto hanta paśyata | pūrṇā gandharvakanyābhiḥ sarvakāmaduhokṣayāḥ ||

Bhīṣma dijo: «¡Oh héroes!, contemplad: ved estos mundos radiantes. Los alcanzan los valientes que combaten sin temor. Estos reinos imperecederos están colmados de doncellas gandharvas y conceden el cumplimiento de todo deseo.»
