विनाशं यास्यति क्षिप्रं कल्याणी पृथुलोचना । “निश्चय ही जिसके पति और पुत्र मारे गये हैं, वह कल्याणमयी विशाललोचना लक्ष्मणकी माता भी सारा समाचार सुनकर तुरंत ही प्राण दे देगी

Transliteration

vināśaṃ yāsyati kṣipraṃ kalyāṇī pṛthulocanā |

Translation

Sañjaya dijo: «Esa dama auspiciosa, de grandes ojos, pronto hallará su fin. En verdad, cuando oiga el relato completo de que su esposo y su hijo han sido muertos, la madre de Lakṣmaṇa entregará al instante su vida.»
