Balarāma’s Pilgrimage Context
so 'ntarikṣacarān siddhān samapaśyat samāhitān | jaigīṣavyaṃ ca taiḥ siddhaiḥ pūjyamānam apaśyata ||
The verse highlights that true honor arises from inner steadiness (samāhita) and realized spiritual excellence (siddhi). Even in a world dominated by conflict and power, dharmic culture recognizes and venerates authentic ascetic attainment.
The narrator describes a vision: celestial siddhas moving through the sky, absorbed in concentration, and Jaigīṣavya among them receiving worship from those siddhas—signaling the presence and authority of higher spiritual beings within the episode.
