यथा त्वया महाभागे मदर्थ संशितव्रते । विशेषो हि त्वया भद्ठे व्रते ह्स्मिन्‌ समर्पित:

Transliteration

yathā tvayā mahābhāge mad-arthaṁ saṁśita-vrate | viśeṣo hi tvayā bhadre vrate ’smin samarpitaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Oh señora afortunada, firme en un voto de disciplina: así como emprendiste austeridades por mi causa, del mismo modo la diosa Arundhatī, de corazón puro, alcanzó aquí la perfección suprema. Oh dulce dama, en esta observancia has mostrado una entrega de ti misma verdaderamente singular».
