सिद्धदेवर्षिदयितं नाम्ना बदरपाचनम् | “तब विशाल एवं अरुण नेत्रोंवाली अरुन्धतीने सप्तर्षियोंकी सभामें महादेवजीसे कहा --“भगवान् यदि मुझपर प्रसन्न हैं तो यह स्थान बदरपाचन नामसे प्रसिद्ध होकर सिद्धों और देवर्षियोंका प्रिय एवं अद्भुत तीर्थ हो जाय ।।
siddhadevarṣidayitaṃ nāmnā badarapācanam | tathāsmin devadeveśa trirātram uṣitaḥ śuciḥ |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Aquel lugar llegó a ser conocido con el nombre de Badarapācana, amado por los Siddhas y los videntes divinos. Y allí, oh Señor de los dioses, el ser puro permaneció durante tres noches, estableciendo así la santidad y la fama del sitio como un maravilloso lugar de peregrinación, nacido de la devoción y del favor divino.
