गोलाड्‌गूलर्क्षसंघैश्व द्रवद्धिरनुनादितम्‌ । कुरजड्भमविनिर्धोषनिनादितवनान्तरम्‌

Transliteration

golāḍgūlarkṣa-saṅghaiś ca dravaddhir anunāditam | kura-jaḍbhama-vinirghoṣa-ninādita-vanāntaram ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: El interior del bosque resonaba por todas partes—con los gritos de manadas de osos y otras bestias salvajes que huían a la carrera—y, además, se veía colmado por el áspero y tumultuoso estrépito de la confusa algarabía de los Kurus: un paisaje sonoro ominoso de la guerra derramándose en la espesura.
