उषित्वा रजनीं तत्र माधव: परवीरहा । पूज्य तीर्थवरं तच्च स्पृष्टवा तोयं च लाड़ली

uṣitvā rajanīṃ tatra mādhavaḥ paravīrahā | pūjya tīrthavaraṃ tacca spṛṣṭvā toyaṃ ca lāḍalī ||

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Tras pasar allí la noche, Mādhava—verdugo de los héroes enemigos—rindió homenaje a aquel vado sagrado excelso; y, después de tocar sus aguas, prosiguió su camino.
