कुमाराभिषेकप्रश्नः — Inquiry into Kumāra (Skanda) Investiture at Sarasvatī
तृप्ताश्न सुभुशं तेन सुखिता विगतज्वरा: । नृत्यन्तश्न हसन्तश्न॒ यथा स्वर्गजितस्तथा,उस रक्तसे अत्यन्त तृप्त, सुखी और निश्चिन्त हो वे राक्षस वहाँ नाचने और हँसने लगे, मानो उन्होंने स्वर्गलोेकको जीत लिया हो
tṛptāś ca subhuśaṃ tena sukhitā vigatajvarāḥ | nṛtyantaś ca hasantaś ca yathā svargajitas tathā ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Habiendo comido hasta saciarse y quedando plenamente satisfechos con aquel manjar, se tornaron alegres y libres de toda aflicción. Entonces comenzaron a danzar y a reír allí, como si hubiesen conquistado el mismo cielo—mostrando la temeraria euforia que sigue a la indulgencia y al orgullo.
