Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative

पन्नगेभ्यो भयं तत्र विद्यते न सम पौरव । तत्रापि विधिवद्‌ दत्त्वा विप्रेभ्यो रत्नसंचयान्‌

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: pannagebhyo bhayaṃ tatra vidyate na sama Paurava | tatrāpi vidhivad dattvā viprebhyo ratnasañcayān ||

Translation

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh descendiente de Puru, en ese lugar no existe temor alguno a las serpientes. Allí también, tras entregar debidamente a los brahmanes montones de joyas conforme al rito, Balarāma partió hacia el oriente, donde a cada paso se manifestaban muchos vados sagrados célebres, que se dice suman casi cien mil».
