त॑ दृष्टवा परमप्रीता: पाण्डवा: सहकेशवा: । उपगम्योपसंगृहा विधिवत् प्रत्यपूजयन्,उन्हें देखकर श्रीकृष्णसहित पाण्डव बड़े प्रसन्न हुए। उन्होंने निकट जाकर उनका चरणस्पर्श किया और विधिपूर्वक उनकी पूजा की
taṁ dṛṣṭvā paramaprītāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ sahakeśavāḥ | upagamya upasaṅgṛhya vidhivat pratyapūjayan |
Sañjaya dijo: «Al verlo, los Pāṇḍavas—junto con Keśava (Kṛṣṇa)—se llenaron de inmensa alegría. Se acercaron, lo recibieron con respeto, tocaron sus pies y lo honraron conforme al debido rito.»
संजय उवाच
Even in a battlefield setting, dharma expresses itself through disciplined respect—approaching elders or honored persons properly, offering traditional courtesies, and maintaining moral order (maryādā) through correct conduct (vidhi).
Sañjaya reports that the Pāṇḍavas, accompanied by Kṛṣṇa, see an important person arrive; they become very pleased, go forward to meet him, touch his feet, and honor him with formal, rule-based hospitality.
