Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault
गौतमस्तु रणे क्रुद्धो द्रौषदेयान् महाबलान्
gautamastu raṇe kruddho drauṣadeyān mahābalān
Sañjaya dijo: En plena batalla, Gautama —con la ira plenamente encendida— se volvió contra los poderosos hijos de Draupadī. El verso subraya cómo la cólera en el campo de guerra impulsa incluso a guerreros célebres a fijar su mira en adversarios eminentes, intensificando el ciclo de violencia y represalia que constituye la tragedia moral de la contienda.
