Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault

The passage highlights how kshatriya action in war is not merely private bravery but a public, witnessed deed that carries ethical consequence; the battlefield becomes a stage where duty, reputation, and accountability converge.
Sanjaya reports that Duryodhana is engaged in combat before all the archers; then Dhrishtadyumna takes up another fine bow and enters into direct battle with Duryodhana on the battlefield, in full view of the assembled warriors.
