Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शल्यपर्वमें सात्यकि और कृतवर्गाका युद्धविषयक इकक््कीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
nānābāṇair mahārāja pramuktaiḥ sarvatodiśam | nājñāyanta raṇe vīrā na diśaḥ pradiśaḥ kutaḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: Oh rey, cuando incontables flechas de muchas clases fueron disparadas en todas direcciones, el campo de batalla cayó en tal confusión que ni los guerreros podían ser reconocidos con claridad ni las direcciones discernidas—cuanto menos los rumbos intermedios. En ese caos, el airado hijo de Droṇa, Aśvatthāmā, con sus descargas que cubrían todos los flancos, contuvo el avance de Bhīmasena.
