Kṛpa’s Counsel on Destiny and Human Effort

Educational Q&A

When delusion clouds judgment, one should turn to trustworthy well-wishers for counsel; from such association arise discernment (buddhi), humility (vinaya), and a clear vision of one’s true welfare (śreyas).

In the tense aftermath of the night’s violence in the Sauptika episode, Kṛpa speaks reflectively, emphasizing ethical decision-making: a person overwhelmed by confusion should not act alone but seek guidance from loyal friends to recover right judgment.
