Rudra’s Omitted Share in the Yajña (रुद्रभागानुपपत्तिः — यज्ञोपाख्यानम्)
भगस्य नयने चैव बाहू च सवितुस्तथा | प्रादात् पूृष्णश्व॒ दशनान् पुनर्यज्ञांश्व पाण्डव,पाण्डुनन्दन! फिर भगवान् शिवने भगको आँखें, सविताको दोनों बाँहें, पूषाको दाँत और देवताओंको यज्ञ प्रदान किये
bhagasya nayane caiva bāhū ca savituḥ tathā | prādāt pūṣṇaś ca daśanān punar yajñāṃś ca pāṇḍava ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Śiva restituyó lo perdido en el antiguo conflicto entre los dioses: devolvió a Bhaga sus ojos, restituyó a Savitṛ sus dos brazos y restauró los dientes de Pūṣan; y también reestableció para los dioses los ritos del sacrificio (yajña).
