चलेद्धि हिमवान् स्थानान्निष्प्रभ: स्याद् दिवाकर: । शैत्यं सोमात् प्रणश्येत मत्सत्यं विचलेद् यदि
arjuna uvāca | caleddhi himavān sthānān niṣprabhaḥ syād divākaraḥ | śaityaṃ somāt praṇaśyet matsatyaṃ vicaled yadi ||
Arjuna dijo: «Si mi verdad pudiera vacilar, entonces el Himalaya se movería de su sitio, el Sol perdería su resplandor y la frescura de la Luna se desvanecería. Eso no puede ser; por tanto, mi palabra no puede ser falsa».
