ते त्वास्थाय रथान् सर्वे बहुशस्त्रपरिच्छदान् । अभिष्नन्तो रथव्रातान् सेनायोगाय निर्ययु:
te tv āsthāya rathān sarve bahuśastra-paricchadān | abhiṣṇanto rathavrātān senāyogāya niryayuḥ ||
Duryodhana dijo: «Entonces todos ellos montaron en sus carros, bien provistos de muchas armas y pertrechos. Con la intención de abatir a la hueste contraria de guerreros de carro, partieron para reunir y ordenar el ejército».
