nivārya ca mahābāhuṁ kopasaṁraktalocanam | pitaraṁ samupātiṣṭhad dhṛtarāṣṭra kṛtāñjaliḥ ||
Tras contener al gran Bhima, cuyos ojos se enrojecían de ira, Yudhiṣṭhira se acercó a su mayor, el rey Dhṛtarāṣṭra, y se plantó ante él con las manos juntas—eligiendo la contención y la reverencia en lugar del arrebato.
भीम उवाच
Even when righteous anger arises, dharma is upheld through self-control and respectful conduct—especially toward elders and authority—so that action remains guided by principle rather than impulse.
Bhīma is furious (his eyes reddened with wrath). Yudhiṣṭhira restrains him and then approaches King Dhṛtarāṣṭra with folded hands, signaling deference and an attempt to address the situation through lawful, courtly means rather than immediate retaliation.
