अपने छोटे भाइयोंके साथ खड़े हुए भीमसेन उपर्युक्त बात कहकर शत्रुओंकी ओर बार-बार देखने लगे; मानो सिंह मृगोंके समूहमें खड़ा हो उन््हींकी ओर देख रहा हो ।।
sāntvyamāno vīkṣamāṇaḥ pārthenākliṣṭa-karmaṇā | khidyaty eva mahābāhur antardāhī vīryavān ||
Mientras Bhīmasena permanecía en pie con sus hermanos menores, no dejaba de lanzar miradas repetidas hacia el enemigo—como un león apostado en medio de una manada de ciervos, clavando en ellos su mirada. Aunque Arjuna, incansable en la acción, intentaba una y otra vez apaciguarlo, Bhima, de poderosos brazos y gran valentía, seguía ardiendo por dentro, atormentado por un incendio de ira.
