medhātithir vāmadevaḥ pulastyaḥ pulahaḥ kratuḥ | maruttaś ca marīciś ca sthāṇuś cātra mahātapāḥ ||
Nārada said: “Here sit the great ascetics—Medhātithi, Vāmadeva, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Marutta, Marīci, and the mighty-tapasvī Sthāṇu—along with many other sages, deities, cosmic powers, and ritual principles.
