एवं ते ज्ञातय: सर्वे मोदमाना: शतं समा: । त्वन्नियुक्त: सव्यसाची निगृह्नलातु सुयोधनम्
evaṁ te jñātayaḥ sarve modamānāḥ śataṁ samāḥ | tvanniyuktaḥ savyasācī nigṛhṇīyātu suyodhanam ||
Así, que todos tus parientes se regocijen durante cien años. Que Arjuna, el ambidiestro, actuando bajo tu mandato, contenga a Suyodhana (Duryodhana). El consejo de Vidura lo presenta como gobierno justo: frenar al malhechor mediante autoridad legítima para que la familia y el reino gocen de una paz duradera.
