कच्चिन्मन्त्रयसे नैक: कच्चिन्न बहुभि: सह । कच्चित् ते मन्सत्रितो मन्त्रो न राष्ट्र परिधावति,(कोई भी गुप्त मन्त्रणा दोसे चार कानोंतक ही गुप्त रहती है, छः कानोंमें जाते ही वह फूट जाती है, अतः मैं पूछता हूँ.) तुम किसी गूढ़ विषयपर अकेले ही तो विचार नहीं करते अथवा बहुत लोगोंके साथ बैठकर तो मन्त्रणा नहीं करते? कहीं ऐसा तो नहीं होता कि तुम्हारी निश्चित की हुई गुप्त मन्त्रणा फ़ूटकर शत्रुके राज्यतक फैल जाती हो?
